Great Quest Announces AGM Results - Appoints Jed Richardson CEO

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA (May 13, 2013) -- Great Quest Metals Ltd (the "Company") (TSX-V: GQ) announces that its shareholders approved all of the motions presented at its 2013 Annual General Meeting ("AGM") held on May 10, 2013. The following have been re-elected as the directors of the Company: John Clarke (Chairman), Jed Richardson (CEO), Victor Jones, Ehud Levy, Gordon Peeling and David Shaw.

Jed Richardson has been appointed President and CEO of the Company. Mr. Richardson has served as a director of the Company since April 2010, and interim President and CEO since February 2013. "We are excited that Jed has accepted the position and will now take the Company forward into its next stage of development" commented John Clarke, Chairman.

Following the Annual Meeting, Jayram Hosanee, Great Quest's Chief Financial Officer, was appointed Corporate Secretary. The Company wishes to thank Dianne Szigety for her significant contributions to Great Quest and wishes her every success in her future endeavors.

The Company also announces that incentive stock options have been granted to directors, officers, employees and consultants of the Company to purchase an aggregate of up to 1,780,000 common shares at a price of $0.60 per share for a five-year period, in accordance with its Stock Option Plan.

The Company has filed its First Quarter 2013 Financial Statement and MD&A on SEDAR.
