Thomas Guillot Joins Great Quest as VP Corporate Development

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA (February 04, 2014) - Great Quest Metals Ltd (the "Company" or "Great Quest") (TSX-V: GQ) is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Thomas Guillot to the executive team, in the role of Vice President of Corporate Development. Mr. Guillot brings unique skills and experiences that complement and greatly enhance the capabilities of our management team.

Previously, Mr. Guillot held the role of Chief Financial Officer at NewGen Asset Management, a mid-sized investment fund focused on resource investment. Prior to his tenure at NewGen, he worked in frontier market development with non-governmental agencies in Mali and Peru.

Mr. Guillot's duties will include engaging with development agencies and banks to assist in the financing of the Company's projects in Africa. Most importantly, he will direct a comprehensive community relationship strategy including partnerships with agriculturally focused research and non-governmental organizations; the promotion of best practice farming techniques; and the development of strategies for distribution of the Company's proposed fertilizer products in Mali and West Africa.
