Overview
The Kourufin vein system consists of a series of quartz veins in Birimian rock striking to the northwest. The center of the system is a two-metre-wide quartz vein that has been traced on the surface for 75 metres. Four samples taken across the vein over a length of 60 metres assayed 1.96, 5.28, 20.67 and 22.52 g/t gold. It is possible that this zone strikes into the recently acquired Comifa concession. This possibility will be followed up in future programs.
