Drilling Results Summary from the Djambaye 2 Gold Zone

VANCOUVER, BC - Because of the significant nature of results from our latest drill program, management believes it appropriate to make certain that all shareholders and interested investors are informed of the details.

The drill program was conducted on the Djambaye 2 gold zone, on the Kenieba concession, western Mali, West Africa. This zone was discovered in May, 2004 by way of our initial pitting and sampling program in which the Company dug 24 pits to a depth of 10 to 12 metres, over a length of 392 metres. From the bottom of these pits 29 samples were taken and assayed, with results averaging 31.44 g/t gold. For a further 1950 metres, both north and south of the above area, digging of pits was impossible because of all the old pits dug by the orpailleurs, or hand miners, and so the Company relied on sampling the reject material from previous panning around these pits. Assays from 24 samples taken from around the old pits averaged 2.82 g/t gold, thus extending the zone to 2,342 metres in length.

The drill program consisted of 10 diamond drill holes averaging roughly 100 metres in depth. These holes were drilled over a length of 400 metres along the 2,342 metre zone. All 10 holes intersected gold mineralization, and assays verified the presence of visible gold seen in the core of all 10 holes. One intersection of 100 g/t over 8.55 m, including 808 g/t gold over 1.05 m in quartz breccia, confirm the fact that there are some very high grade occurrences of gold within the zone. These particular intersections occurred at between 35 and 45 m. A table of our drill results follows.

At this point the drill is in use by another company in the area, but Great Quest intends to bring the drill back onto the property and drill 2 more holes before the rainy season.

The Djambaye 2 gold zone has several characteristics in common with Nevsun Resources' Tabakoto gold deposit, which is located 8 km to the northeast. In both cases the gold mineralization is centered on a north-south diorite dyke, which is in an envelope of silicification. Rhyodacite occurs in both areas, and both the Tabakoto deposit and the Djambaye 2 gold zone have four sets of mineralized quartz veins. The Tabakoto deposit is on schedule to be in production this autumn.
