The drill holes were drilled in 3 sets of two holes each with the first set, KN 55-07 and KN 56-07, located 100 metres south of the southern extent of the 2006 drilling. The next two holes, KN 57-07 and 58-07, were drilled a further 100 metres south, and KN 59-07 and KN 60-07 an additional 100 metres south.

All holes were drilled at - 50º to the northwest. With each set of holes, the second hole was spotted 65 metres southeast of the first and drilled under it. Geology consists of gold mineralization in quartz veins associated with rhyodacite and diorite dykes.

During the 2005 and 2006 drill programs, Great Quest tested the Djambaye 2 gold zone over a north-south length of 1,100 metres. With drill holes south of the 1,100 metre length, the Company intersected two mineralized zones in each hole, instead of one, as can be seen from the above table. Great Quest has now intersected significant results on the Djambaye 2 zone in 58 of 60 drill holes to date.

Drill core samples were submitted to ALS Laboratory Group, located in Bamako, Mali, and were assayed by means of fire assay with atomic absorption finish. Where visible gold was seen, the assays were completed through pulp metallic sieve analysis which is a more thorough method that helps to reduce the problems associated with the nugget effect of gold. Carl Verley (P. Geol.), the Qualified Person pursuant to NI 43-101, has reviewed the contents of this news release.
