VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA (June 3, 2014) - Great Quest Metals Ltd (the "Company" or "Great Quest") (TSX-V: GQ) is pleased to announce that, it is changing its name to Great Quest Fertilizer Ltd, subject to the approval of the Exchange. The trading symbol "GQ" will remain unchanged. There is no share consolidation and no corporate reorganization accompanying the Company's name change.

Jed Richardson, President and CEO commented, "We have specifically chosen to change the Company name to "Fertilizer" from "Metals" as it is more accurately reflects both the direction and focus of the Company. Great Quest is building a Pan-African fertilizer manufacturing business for the purpose of developing, producing and selling farm ready fertilizers to Africa's rapidly growing agricultural industry. Our objectives are to build our Tilemsi phosphate project to supply a direct application fertilizer for the market in Mali, and to develop our brownfield potash brine opportunity in Botswana."
